Snorkeling is one of the top things people think to do when coming to Hawai’i. Knowing where to go and when is important because an amazing day of snorkeling at a location one day to the next can be a completely different experience due to elements like swell, rain, cloud cover, tide, time of year, etc. This is a picture of me snorkeling at Turtle Canyon. I paddled on a SUP from shore. It took me about 30 minutes to paddle there on a no wind day.

This is a picture of our ti leaf wrap for ashes. We provide this service on board so there is no need to drop the ashes off with another company to prep days before your charter. We use all local ti and flowers and this method is 100% ocean friendly and safe with no plastic or even biodegradable plastic materials. This method of ash release provides a unique and beautiful experience and also minimizes the risk of ash blow back.

Recommendations on where to stay on Oʻahu

The incomparable Kualoa Ranch, one of the must see spots on the east side of Oʻahu in Kaneohe Bay. Zip lines, ATVs, Ebikes, movie set tours, Kualoa Ranch has something for everybody. Jason and I had the oppotunity to visit Kaneohe Bay this past January for our 5th anniversary. We live in a magical place where we love our home on the south shore and can be in a different world just a few miles away.

Is my travel money going to the right places?

Small business owners Jason and Mariah on their vessel Pau Hana. They run sailing eco tours for private groups. They offer reusable dishes, glasses, silverware and linens for all their guests. They provide filtered ice water in a pitcher and ask guests not to bring single use plastic water bottles. Their tours are powered by the wind and they like to visit less toured areas of the ocean.
