Enjoy sailing, snorkeling, wildlife viewing (whale season December - April), Friday night fireworks, swimming, and relaxing in the nets of your own luxury catamaran. We specialize in boutique private charters creating unique experiences for up to 12 passengers.
Sailing on a catamaran is so smooth! Take a seat in the large shaded cockpit with ample room for lounging with unobstructed views as we depart from the conveniently located Ala Wai Boat Harbor and head out along the Waikiki coastline toward Diamond Head. Our seasoned Captain & Crew assure you a safe, fun, and comfortable day and will be looking for marine life such as turtles, dolphins, monk seals, schools of fish over a sunken barge, and humpback whales. You might decide to move to the front of the boat and lay in the nets or look out from one of the bow seats for the best views. If you're in the mood for sailing, we will continue on to Diamond Head or you might be in the mood to drop the anchor and roll out the magic carpet for a swim and snorkel above sprawling coral reefs and see a wide array of tropical fish, turtles and other active marine life in the turquoise blue water. You can rinse off with a hot shower as you come out of the water and take a nap in the nets to dry off. You'll enjoy a downwind sail back into the sunset while dining on delicious and locally inspired food and drink from your private chef on our way back to the marina. It’s sure to be your most favorite and memorable day of your Hawaii vacation.

Pau Hana Sailing exclusive charters are 100% private with a max of 12 passengers. Create a cruise where you can explore and get away from the crowds of Waikiki. Private charters allow more flexibility with the day’s schedule and activities. We donʻt have a fixed schedule so you can book a sail, swim and snorkel time that works with your schedule. You can go at the best time of day to snorkel and see turtles, dolphins, eels, rays, octopus, monk seals, big schools of tropical fish, and humpback whales (whale season is December - April). If you decide that you want to add onto your trip, it’s no problem. It’s your boat and you decide the music, where you go, and rest assured you have the best crew to keep you safe at sea.

Luxury
Our private boutique charters offer a higher level of luxury than shared charters. Pau Hana is equipped with a large shaded cockpit with luxury padded seats, large nets to relax in, seats up front to spot animals (such as turtles, dolphins, manta rays, monk seals, humpback whales, and large schools of tropical fish),a warm shower, glassware, flatware, linens, and dishes. On the Pau Hana team we have a private chef available for hire and a world class crew of the most experienced captains and snorkel guides to lead you in the water on a snorkel of a lifetime or on a whale watch tour you will never forget.
Comfort
Our catamaran provides a big stable platform that is comfortable for enjoying the Hawaiian waters. The front of the vessel will appeal to those looking for a sailing adventure and is the best location for seeing marine life. The cockpit is completely shaded and protected from the wind for a more conservative sail. The swim steps off the stern of the vessel are a perfect entry to swim and snorkel. Once at anchor, there is a magic carpet to relax on in the water and a freshwater shower to rinse off when you finish. Coming back onto the boat the nets on the front of the vessel are a great place to sundry. The cockpit is a great place to enjoy drinks and snacks for the entire group.
